Kleine Bloemen

It's another blog design description post. This time is a blog design for The Brown Skinned Girl's Diary. I called it Kleine Bloemen, it means Little Flowers.



I use 8 colors for this design, 4 colors are for the flowers itself and the other 4 is for texts, borders and background. because the flower is colorful already, I use monochrome (a very dark grey and light grey) colors for other element.

For this design, I use 2 kind of fonts, Sacramento and Merriweather. Sacramento is such a cute font, and I think it's suit enough with the flowers (as you can see on the header). On the other side, Merriweather is balancing the whole look with its simplicity.

I don't put too many element for this blog design because beauty blog mostly full of pictures. So, to make the pictures stand out, it's better to keep other low but attractive enough. I only customize the backgroung if gadgets, borders and give it a little nice touch of Back to Top Button.
